Banbury is a machine equipped with a pair of special shape and relatively rotating rotors and used to plasticize and mix polymer material in a closed state with adjustable temperature and pressure. It is mainly composed of mixing chamber, rotor, rotor sealing device, feeding and pressing device, discharging device, transmission device and frame. While raw rubber is mixed in banbury, it is subjected to both strong mechanical stress and thermal oxidation cracking, so that the desired degree of plasticization can be achieved in a very short time. It has a number of excellent features in the rubber mixing process, such as large mixing capacity, short mixing time, high production efficiency and good resistance to dust flights.
